4KJ had their first Djembe drum lesson today! The children were able to follow and repeat a beat. They even learnt the difference between the three main sounds on the Djembe; bass, tone, and slap.🥁🪘✨#ecsmusic

Today, Year Two were incredibly fortunate to receive a visit from the Explorer Dome!Throughout their experience, they were able to consolidate their Geography learning about the continents, oceans, weather, and climate. Year Five also experienced The Explorer Dome and made excellent links to their Science learning about space and solar systems. 🌦️☀️🌍🌙🪐

In ECS ARTefacts Club the children looked at fossils and made their own ammonites and brachiopods. The children also looked at Stone Age arrowheads, creating their own from slate.🪨🛖
